What is Maxium Comix™?
Maxium Comix™ is an independent Canadian comic book publisher founded by Max Charlebois, focused on creating original characters, stories and worlds.
What is The Drifter?
The Drifter is the debut original series from Maxium Comix™. It's a grounded mystery and survival thriller set in the wilderness of Northern Ontario, following a mysterious masked man who refuses to stop searching when others would turn back.
When does The Drifter #1 officially launch?
The Drifter #1 officially launches August 30, 2026. A special live signing event will also take place on the MissedThePart YouTube channel that day.
Can I preorder The Drifter #1?
Yes! Preorders are now open through the official Maxium Comix™ store.
Are Maxium Comix™ comics physical or digital?
Physical only. There are currently no plans to sell digital editions of our comics. We want Maxium Comix releases to be something readers can physically own and collect.
Will signed copies be available?
Yes. A limited number of first-print copies of The Drifter #1 will be signed as part of the August 30 launch event. Quantities are limited.
Will there be a variant cover?
Yes. A limited variant cover edition of The Drifter #1 is planned alongside additional collectible material. Availability and signing details will be announced separately.
What happens if the first printing sells out?
That's not the end of The Drifter. Additional printings can be produced, although first-print editions will remain part of the original launch run.
Is The Drifter the only Maxium Comix™ series?
Not even close.
The Drifter is where Maxium Comix begins. More original characters, stories and worlds are planned for the future.
Who is Max Charlebois?
Max Charlebois is a Canadian writer, filmmaker, content creator and founder of Maxium Comix™. After years of storytelling through MissedThePart, Max created Maxium Comix as a home for his own original characters and stories.
