The Drifter #1 Is Out Now

The Drifter #1 is out. After a long stretch of writing, art, lettering and print proofs, the first issue from Maxium Comix exists as a physical object you can hold.
What the book is
Twenty years ago, a man in the dark tore a boy's sister from his arms and left him alone in the snow. He never forgot that face. Now the boy is grown, goes by the Drifter, and on a frozen stretch of Highway 11 the hunt that has consumed his life finally catches up with the men who took her.
It's a noir revenge story, and it does not end where you expect a revenge story to end. The hardest thing the Drifter learns is what it actually costs to stop becoming the thing he's hunting.

Why physical
Maxium Comix publishes printed editions only. Comics were designed as objects — paper stock, trim size, the way a page turn lands. That's the version we wanted to make.
